Asphalt Paving Services in Castleton, NY & Rensselaer County

Castleton-on-Hudson is a small village in Rensselaer County along the Hudson River, with residential streets and rural properties that extend into the surrounding township. The area sees the same freeze-thaw cycle as the rest of the Capital Region, and older driveways here often show it. J. Hunziker Paving, LLC serves Castleton and Rensselaer County with reliable asphalt work. Call for a free estimate.

Driveway Paving Services

We handle driveway paving, asphalt resurfacing, and new installations for residential properties of all sizes.

Commercial Paving

We handle commercial blacktop paving for office buildings, medical facilities, apartment complexes, and small businesses.

Driveway Sealcoating

Sealcoating extends pavement life, resists oil and gas penetration, and slows the wear caused by weather and traffic.

Parking Lot Paving & Line Striping

We stripe parking lots to keep traffic flowing and properties compliant — ADA spaces, fire lanes, and markings included.

Asphalt Resurfacing

Asphalt resurfacing gives you fresh blacktop over sound existing pavement — a smart alternative to full replacement.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. J.Hunziker recently completed an asphalt and oil and stone driveway for me in July '26. The crew did very nice work. They were thoughtul about the aesthetic decisions; their curves and margins were tidy. Moreover, this job was quoted in '25 before Trump's war increased all input prices (especially oil). Neverthless, Hunziker honored the pre-war quote with no fuss. Further, the owner was on site throughout to ensure a great job. All around, we are very satisfied with the experience.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The team showed up at 7:00 am and professionally dug out my old driveway and replaced it all in a day. I am on an extremely busy highway and they handled the traffic extremely well.

They did a phenomenal job on our driveway last summer. Patient and understanding with removing some old errant tree roots left behind. It drains perfectly. I was amazed they knocked it out in one day.

Courteous, professional and fairly priced.

Highly recommend.
